UKTIN is an innovation network for the UK telecoms sector, bringing together industry, academia, and government stakeholders to catalyse telecoms R&D talent in investment, cooperation and commercialisation.

My role in this project was to help develop branding and motion assets such as guidelines and various print and digital touchpoints.

Launching in 2022, UKTIN’s mission is to transform the UK telecoms innovation ecosystem, capitalising on
the country’s strengths in technology, academia, and entrepreneurialism, while positioning it for growth as new opportunities emerge in the industry.

The UKTIN logo was inspired by the dynamic stripes of the Union Jack and its visual cues that represent the brand’s UK home.

It is a simple mark of shapes that join in the middle, representing an engine, a hub that generates speed and energy as well as a centre where different parts meet and work together.

Paid activity is has gone underway since launch in May 2023, with positive initial results including 133,869 impressions from paid social and programmatic to date.
